Goldielocks 2 go

Goldielocks2go terms & conditions

Please give plenty notice if you need to change an appointment or cancel. Its unfair to be late or not in when i have travelled to you & i could be doing someone else if you no longer need your appointment. If you are not in you will be charged the full price & if its not paid a further appointment wont be given. If you cancel less that 48 hours notice half the appointment will be charged.

i dont apply nails on children, or apply nails when children are around. This is specified in my insurance as the chemicals for nails are not suitable for children. Also if your child wants attention you can not use your hands if the product is on so its just not suitable, if your child is there i wont be able to complete the service and you will be charged full price.

i have been hairdressing and doing manicures for 25 years. Although you have an idea in mind i like to advise through my experiance what will and wont be suitable. If you have a picture of a hair colour with root melt done by chris mcmillan tbat cost over £1,000 and took him all day then we need to discuss your price bracket & appointment time. I try my best to manage your expectations within your hair type also. Sometimes i do reccomend clients wisit a salon where the have a climazone etc

nails are jewels not tools. I guarentee my nails for 3 days only. I have travelled to you and taken my time & used expensive products so if you break a nail im happy to fix it free within the 3 days. I do not offer refunds. If you remove the nails yourself please soak them off as it may seem like pulling them off is ok, but the nail plate is 100 layers thick and every time you do this you pull a few layers off. Eventually you will have sore nails. I reccomend nails be infilled, reshaped, balanced or removed after 2-3 weeks . Although they may last longer i do not recomend this as its not atteactive & puts too much pressure on your natural nail.

Covid 19

This outlines the steps that I will be taking in order to keep you and myself as safe as possible, whilst providing the hair and nail treatments that you love.

I have strict infection control measures in place and all bookings will be subject to all these conditions;

1. Bookings

*I will not be accepting bookings from clients with possible COVID-19 symptoms or those from a household where someone else has symptoms.

* Clients who have been unable to practice social distancing due to the nature of their work will be asked NOT to request an appointment until such times as the social distancing measures are further eased.

* I will not be taking bookings from anyone who has travelled outside of the UK in the last 14 days.

* Clients who appear to show any possible COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to reschedule

2. Cleaning & Disinfection

* Clients will be asked to wash their hands with soap and water on my arrival. They will also be offered a mask to wear if they don’t have an appropriate face covering. Some health conditions prevent clients wearing masks so these vulnerable clients will have been self isolating and are exempt from wearing a mask. I will be wearing a fresh mask & disposable apron on entering each house.

*i will be entering and exciting via back/kitchen doors where possible to avoid walking through clients houses as little as possible.

* A clean bag of equipment / gowns etc will be brought into each clients house. It will not be taken from house to house. So i will be using disposable bags with only what i need rather than my kit bag. Everything will be disinfected between clients. (which was my standard practice pre Covid-19.) Disposable files will be used and plastic / metal tools will be disinfected as normal.

* I’m trained in the Infection Control and will be wearing PPE appropiate to the treatment being provided. This may include gloves, apron, surgical face mask.

* Payment is preferred by bank transfer, although i will still accept cash please try to have the correct money if possible in an envelope.

3. Social Distancing

* Clients will be asked to message a picture of the hair style or nail design if possible prior to my visit so i can have only exactly the products and equipment i need with me.

*to avoid contact with magazine pictures of hairstyles or nail popps & tubs of glitters clients are asked to have chosen their hairstyle or nail colour & design via a phone/ social media message. I wont be bringing a selection of colours only what is required. Im happy to send photos of glitters / colours etc before the appointment.

*only the client im working on is to be in the room with me. A child with a parent is ok where thats more appropriate. Other house members and guests should remain in another room where possible.

*If you change your mind or request a different colour or nail crystals etc i may not have something suitable with me as i wont be able to take extra items in and out at first. This may change as restrictions do.
